This book is a 30th anniversary look back at the tornado which tore
a path of destruction across Louisville, Kentucky on April 3, 1974.
On that fateful day 148 tornadoes cut a swath across Kentucky,
Indiana, and 11 other states, killing 330 people, injuring almost
5,500 and destroying more than 7,500 homes. This book contains
hundreds of never-before-seen photographs and the personal stories
of ordinary people whose homes and lives were torn apart that day by
one of the worst disasters in Louisville's history.
